Open to all active or aspiring IB students throughout the US. This IB trip is designed in conjunction with the IB curriculum. Our focus on language and cultural immersion brings students’ Spanish proficiency to the next level. Please contact us with additional questions.

Day One - Managua
- Arrive Managua in the evening. Stay night in Managua
- 9-10pm: Brief orientation and settle into Hotel in Managua
Day Two - Granada & San Juan del Sur
- 7-8am: breakfast in hotel
- 8am: Depart for Granada/San Juan del sur
- 12-3pm: Lunch and historic tour in Granada
- 4:30pm: Arrive San Juan del sur, meet home stay families, settle into home stay in groups of 2
- 6pm: Dinner in home stay
- 10pm: bed
Day Three - San Juan del sur
- 8am: breakfast in homestay
- 9am-12pm: Spanish language training with native speaking instructors (groups no larger than 2 students per teacher)
- 12-1pm: Lunch in home stay
- 1-5pm: surf lessons and surfing
- 5pm: Free time in San Juan del sur
- 6pm: Dinner in homestay
- 7-9pm: group activity-tba
- 10pm: bedtime
Day Four - San Juan del sur
- 8am: breakfast in homestay
- 9am-12pm: Spanish language training with native speaking instructors (groups no larger than 2 students per teacher)
- 12-1pm: Lunch in home stay
- 1-5pm: surf lessons and surfing
- 5pm: Free time in San Juan del sur
- 6pm: Dinner in homestay

Day Eight - Travel to Village Project - Miraflor, Estelí
- 7-8 am: breakfast
- 9am: Leave for Village/introduction to community
- 12 pm: Lunch in homestay
- 1-4: Community Development Projects
- 4-5 pm: Group discussion
- 6 pm: Dinner in Homestay and remainder of evening with homestay family
Day Nine - Village Project - Miraflor, Estelí
- 7 am: breakfast in homestay
- 8am-12pm: Community Development Projects(specific project to be determined)
- 12pm-2pm: Lunch and rest in homestay
- 2-5pm: Community Development Projects(specific project to be determined)
- 6 pm: Dinner in Homestay and remainder of evening with homestay family
Day Ten - Village Project - Miraflor, Estelí
- 7-8 am: breakfast in homestay
- 8am-12pm: Community Development Projects(specific project to be determined)

Day Eleven - Village Project - Miraflor, Estelí
- 7-8 am: breakfast in homestay

- 12pm-5pm: Afternoon Excursion in surrounding mountains
- 6 pm: Dinner in Homestay and remainder of evening with homestay family
Day Twelve - Laguna de Apoyo (Masaya)
- 8 am: breakfast in homestay
- 9am-12pm: Drive to Laguna de Apoyo
- 1pm: Lunch at Selva Azul Lodge
- 2-4 pm: Jungle Canopy Tour
- 4-6pm: afternoon recreation on lake
- 6pm: Dinner at Monkey Hut Lodge
- 7-10 pm: free time /group discussion
Day Thirteen - Laguna de Apoyo (Masaya) & Managua
- 8am: breakfast in hostel
- 9am: leave for La Chureca and Colegio Esperanza
- 10 am: service work with Colegio Esperanza and community at La Chureca
- 12pm Lunch in Managua
- 1-3 pm shopping at Masaya’s artesan market
- 4-6: Free time at Selva Azul/Lake
- 6pm: dinner
- 8pm Final Group Discussion
Day Fourteen - Managua - Travel Home
- Travel to Managua
- Return flight home to Denver
